Let´s find out if the money markets have changed. Well, they are steady with the Euro changing at 88 pence against the GB pound which is worth 1 euro 13 today.
I spent the afternoon walking in Calpe yesterday trying to get my head around the various developments with the radio situation. We have been having meetings for almost three months and seemingly getting nearer with every day. However, we have suffered many disappointments on the way. The radio world right now seems obsessed with playing music in the cheapest possible way and not in providing vital news and information to the community. After our terrible experiences with the fires around La Nucia when we had no access to news when we needed it most I feel compelled top battle on. We are a group of likie minds who know the information gap has not yet been filled. Moreover, the radio here on the Costa Blanca has no remit to sell music. Therefore, we don´t have to be obsessed by charts. We´re still battling…..also I received a call whilst I was in Calpe telling me of the death of one of my friends in Benidorm. Dennis was known on my show as the Roving Reporter and I first met Dennis when he was celebrating the birthday of his partner Gerry who died a couple of years ago. We´ll miss you Dennis.
On the way home we visited the beautiful Russian Orthodox church that can be seen from the N332 as you travel between Altea and Calpe. I have dedicated a page to the church and I thoroughly recommend a visit to everyone. The building is gorgeous.
Now to a more serious idea.I´m sure it must have happened to you. The phone rings and before you pick it up you know who is at the other end of the phone. Well, I´m getting really interested in the subject of telepathy and the area of the sixth sense and this type of material. I´m sure there´ll be those who think I´m cracking up but we do often have moments in our lives when we know what´s coming even before it gets here. If there is a development here I´m upn for it! Anyway, if you´re interested here´s a taster.
Exercise 1: A New Way of Being
This first exercise is a pleasurable and powerful life-changing tool. The effects of daily stress associated with materialistic obsession (and its by-products: anxiety, isolation, frustration, fear, anger and depression) can be dissolved by this technique. It is, at the same time, simple and profound. It increases greatly the vibratory rate of your non-physical Higher Self. Its premise is “smile at the world and the world will smile back at you.”
As you go about your daily activities, from the moment you get up in the morning up to the the time that you go back to sleep, constantly imagine that you are smiling inwardly at your outer reality as you go about your daily activities. Imagine that you are smiling from the deepest recesses of your mind and chambers of your heart, and that you are projecting this happiness and smile outward through your eyes and expression. No matter what the circumstances are, you will increasingly find that your eyes will be smiling and so will your mouth.
At the same time, imagine that your heart constantly expresses a great inward smile filled with pure joy of being alive.
After two weeks or so, you will notice significant changes. Not only in the way you interact with the ‘outside’ world, but also in how the world acts and projects its reality toward you. Your fears will begin to abate and an inner feeling of peace and love will emerge. Notice how people seek your presence and ‘Inner Love’.

Spain Press Review – Friday May 22 2009
The official start of campaigning in the European elections is underway, but it is corruption which dominates many front pages again………El Mundo has a photo from the general strike in the Basque region yesterday and shows how union members were shouting at a woman who was going to work at El Corte Inglés in Bilbao. ABC has a dramatic photo of members of the regional Basque police force, La Ertzaitza, in line outside El Corte Inglés, and considers that Patxi López and his government won the day, describing the General Strike call as a complete failure…………………………….I am behind a lawful, just and peaceful strike but if someone feels compelled to work they have the right to do so
