We've set out on a voyage of discovery to find the stars of the Merseybeat phenomenon that occurred in the 1960s. We'll try to discover where the stars are now and pay tribute to those who made it Bigtime! Our first Merseybeat star is Harry Prytherch of the Remo Four.
Track 1.   Harry was the drummer in this fabulous foursome (voted number 3 on Merseyside behind the Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers).
Track 2.   Fort Perch Rock stands on the shoreline at New Brighton on the banks of the River Mersey opposite Liverpool. The current owner is Dougie Darroch who told Vince and Paul about the origins of the fort.       Jun 26th 2007
Track 3:The Pressmen were formed by Ritchie Prescott and have their name etched on the walls of the Cavern Club in three guises. Perhaps they were best known when their frontman was Derry Wilkey Jun 25 2007
